No Name

No Name by Wilkie Collins written 1862 - 1863. 

Written in the wake of the popular success of ‘The Woman in White’, ‘No Name’ takes on a social issue even more controversial, it revolves around the issue of illegitimacy, dealing with the social and moral stigma attached to ‘nameless’ female children.

I directed my own adaptation of the novel working with the final year acting students at AUB in December 2014.  Here are some images from the production.
